What's more important Health or Fitness?
As I get older my focus has definitely shifted away from fitness to my overall health. I still enjoy pushing my body hard but I have definitely pulled back from trying to find my absolute limits. Its been challenging at times not being able to do the things I once did, and my ego still gets in the way. I still have a small obsession with squatting double my body weight in my 50’s, but I’m trying to let it go. :)
Im not saying that you can’t still workout hard, or set some lofty goals, but we need to be smarter with the way we look at our health and fitness as we get older and not let our ego or stupidity get in the way.
Fitness Fads come and go but overall the same health principles have applied for decades. Eat clean fresh foods and exercise regularly. Its that simple
